Falaknuma Palace

Falaknuma Palace a wonderful building which stands on vershine2000 feet high hillock . It is located 5 km from Charminar Built NawabVikar - UL - Ulmara, Prime Minister of Hyderabad, this is a huge palace and is associated with the " heavenly abode ." This exquisite Italian marble palace was built by one izdvoryan Paigah Nawab Vicar ul Umra in 1892.A evidence of greatness

Falaknuma houses a large collection of rare treasures collected by the Nizam including paintings , statues , furniture , manuscripts and books. Jade collection of the Palace is considered unique in the world.

Falaknuma Palace is a rare blend of Italian and Tudor architecture. Its stained glass windows throw a spectrum of colors in the room. The palace has a library with a walnut carved roof , the exact kopiyaodnogo at Windsor Castle . The library was one of the finest collections of the holy Quran in India.

Falaknuma palace has other unique things to its credit. It includes the largest Venetian chandeliers. He said that it took six months to ochistit138 -arm Osler chandelier iDvorets has 40 such chandeliers adorn the halls ! The famous palace dining room could accommodate 100 guests at the same table. The furniture is also very aesthetic. Chairs with carved rosewood handle cup of green. The utensils were made ​​of gold and crystal to which fluted music was added .

Visakhapatnam

It is the true spot when one can fomd the beauty of Andhra. It is the best tourism destination in Andhrapradesh. Visakhapatnam has beautiful hill ranges, velleys, caves, temples  and also lakes to beaches. It is one of the fastest growing cities in Asia. Vizag is a city of cultural and religious divercutt unoirtant places of visit in and around the city are Kailashgiri, Ramakrishna beach, Rishikonda, Simhachalam temple, Indira Gandhi Zoolagical Park and so on.

Borra Caves

These caves are located at a distance of 92 KMs North of Vishakapatnam. These  caves are the origin of the river Gosthami which flows through the district. William King, the British geologist discovered this million yrears old cave in the year 1807. Breath taking hilly terrain, beautiful landscape and wild fauna of the area are visual feast.

Araku Valley

Places with enchanting streams, beautiful waterfalls, wealthy landscape and lovely weather, Araku valley is a scenic hill station near Vizag in Andhra Pradesh. It is placed at a height of 3100 feet in effluent hills of Ananragiri. For every traveler, it gives a wonderful and unique experience.

Dwaraka Tirumala

The great saint Dwaraka – who located the self manifested idol of the Lord after a severe penance. It is a famouse temple from ancient times. It is a great wonder to see two main idols under one Vimana Sikharam. One idol is full and complete statue. The other is half portion of the form of the Load. The ypper portion of the form is self-manifested idol located by Sage Dwaraka. It is believed that the prayers in the smaller statue of the Lord will lead to Moksha and the big form stands for Dharma. The place is also called as Chenna Tirupati.


Bhadrachalam

It is situated on the river Dodavari, According to legends, a saint called Bhadra did penance here to seek Lord Rama’s blessings. Lord Sri Rama appeared before him and named the place as Bhadrachalam, after the name of the saint Bhadra. The main attraction is the famous Rama temple built in the 17th century, which attracts thousands of  pilgrims from all over the world.

Papikondalu

These hills are a part of Eastern Ghats and through which river turns towards the east. The legend about Papikondalu is that Lord Rama and Goddess Sita dwelled here during vanavasa. Considerable percentage of Telugu movies are shot in important locations of this lovely place.

Pancharamas

Legend has it that when Subrhmanya, killed the demon Tarakasura, the shivalingam n his throat broke and fell in five different spots, which became the Pancharam kshetras.
Amararamam: Lord Shiva is called as Amaralingeshwara Swamy at this place and the Shivalingam was installed by Indra.
Draksharamam:  Lord Shica is called as Bhimeswara Swamy at this place and the Shivalingam, was installed by Surya.
Somaramam: Lord Shiva is called as Someswara Swamy at this place and the Shivalingam was installed by Chandra.
Ksheraramam: Lord Shiva is called as Ksheraramalingeswara Swamy at this place and the Shivalingam was installed by Lord Vishnu.

Bhimaramam: Lord Shiva is called as Kumara Bimeswara Swamy at this place and the Shevalingam was installed by Kumaraswamy.


Vijayawada Kanak Durga

Goddess Kanak Durga temple is most popular in Vijayawada . It is located on a hill – Indrakeeladri overlooking the city as well as the River Krishna. Very famous. Indrakiladri is a famous hill mentioned in the Mahabharata where the Pandava hero Arjuna obtained from Lord Siva an important weapon called Pasupatastra.

Annavaram : According to the Puranas, the presiding deity of this place, Lord Veera Venkata Satyanarayana Swamy blesses the devotees with Anina Varam (Wanted Boon) and the place is called Annavaram.

Mahanandi

Mahanandi is village located east of the Nallamal Hills in Kurnool District of Andhra Pradesh. It is a picturesque village surrounded by thick forests. Within 15km of Mahanandi, there are nine Nandhi shrines of the Nava Nandis. The mahanandhiswara Swamy Temple, an important shine, is located here.
The temple is famous for its fresh water pools, called Kalyani or Pushkarni.
A peculiarity of the water source is that it has a constant flow irrespective of the change of seasons. The water source originates at the Garbhagruha, just below Swayambhu Linga. One can touch the water near the shiva Linga. The devotees can offer prayers and touch the Shiva Linga.

The water is famous for its crystalline and healing qualities and is ever tepid.


Alampur

Alampur near Kurnool is home to the very ancient Navabhramma temples dating back to the 7th century.
The Tungabhadra and Krishna are in confluence near Alampur, which is also known as Dakshina Kailasam, Nine temples here referred to as the Nava Bhramma temples are dedicated to Shiva.

The Nava Bhramma temples were built by the Badami Chalukyas, who ruled for about 200 years from the middle of the sixth century onwards.

Belum Caves – a Natural Wonder

Belum Caves are the second largest cave in Indian subcontinent and the largest caves  in plains of Indian Subcontinent. Belum Caves have long passages. Spacious chambers, fresh water gallesries and siphons. The caves reach it deepest point (120 feet from entrance level) at the point known as Pataalaganga. Belum Caves derives its name from “Bilum” Sanskrit word for caves. Belum Caves has a langth of 3229 meters, making it the second largest natural caves in Indian Subcontinent.

Originally discovered in 1884 by a British surveyor Robert Bruce Foote, later in1982-84, a team of German speleologists headed H Daniel Gebauer Conducted a detailed exploration of the caves.

Mantrlayam

Mantralaya is one of the important pilgrimage  center situate on the bank of river Tunghabadra in the state of Andhra Pradesh in South India as it houses the original Samadhi of the great Vaishnava saint Sri Raghavendra. Sri Radhvendra. Sri Ragavavendra selected Mantralaya for his Jeeva Samaddhi. Ks of river Tungabhadra in the state of Andhra Pradesh bordering Karnataka.

Hampi

Hampi Located on the banks of the Tungabhadra River, in Karnataka, Hampi is the former capital of the Vijayanagara Empire, a Hindu Dynastry who ruled south India from 14th to 16th century. Covering an area of over 25 square km, the Hampi ruins, its current fame, is stuffed with mammoth temples, market streets, palaces, and historic structures.



Srishailam

The history of Srishailam begins with Stavahanas, who were the first empire builders in South India. The presiding diety is Lord Mallikarjuna. The shrine is situated on a flat top of Nallamala hills. It is considered to be one of the most ancient kshetras in India. It is on the right side of the Krishna. The presiding deity, Lord Mallikarjuna Swamy is one of the 18 Mahashaktis. The unique feature of this Kshetra is the combination of Jyothirlingas and Mahashakthis in one campus which is very rare and one of its kind. The Mahalingam is campus which is very rare and one of its kind. The Mahalingam is accessible to each and every devotee.

Nagarjuna Sagar Dam

Nagarjuna Sagar Dam is an important irrigation dam on the river Krishna. This is the tallest and biggest masonry dam in the world. It is the third largest man made lake. Apart from this, some remains of Buddist civilization dating back to the third century A. D. are seen at an island called Nagarjunakonda on the other side of the river Krishna. Some excavations of the surroundings have brought to light the remains of a University which was flourished under Acharya Naragjuna, to Nagarjuna, the great Buddhist saint, scholar and philosopher, who migrated to Nagarjunakonda from Amaravathi to spread the massage of Lord Buddha. The foundation stone of this dam was laid by the first Prime Minister of Independent India, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on 10-12-1955.

Warangal (Veyee Sthambala gudi)

It wa the capital of Hindu Shaivaite kingodom rules by the Kakaity dynasty from the 12th to the 14th centuries. The old name of this newly formed city is Orulallu. Oru means one and Kally means stone.

The kakatiya left many monuments, includinf an impressive fortress, four massive stone geteways, the Swayambhu temple dedicated to Shiva, and the Ramappa temple situated near Ramappa Lake. Well-known rules included Ganapathi Deva, Prathapa Rudhra, and Rani (queen) Rrudhrama Devi.

Surendrapuri

Surendrapuri  is a theme park located about 60 km from Hyderabad, It was astablished to create an awareness of Indian mythology. It was established by Kund Satyanaraya in memory of his son surendra. It is also known locally as Kunda Satyanarayana Kala Dhamam, in hi honor.

Yadagiri Gutta

Sri Lakshminarasimha Swamy Temple or Yadagirigutta is a popular Hindu Temple of Narasimha Swamy, an incarnation of Lord Vishn It is siruated on a hillock in the Nalgonda district, Andhra Pradesh.
The temple is quite popular and is busy throughout the year with different events of the God.
Lord Narsimha is also known as Ydagiri, hence the name.
In Tretayugam, there lived a sage by the name of Yadarishi, son of the great sage Rishyasruga and Santa Devi who did penance inside a cave with the blessings of Anjaneya (Hanuman) on this hill between Bhoongir (Bhuvanagiri) and Raigiri. Please with his deep devotion, Lord Narasimha, an incarnation of Lord Vishnu appeared before him.

As the belief goes, Lord Narasimha has taken on the role of a “doctor” and is known as “Vaidya Narasimha” bu his devotees at this shrine to cure many diseases.

Nehru Zoological Park

Spanning on 300 lush green acres, the Nehru Zoological Park is a must for natures lovers. It has over 250 species of animals and birds, most of which are kept in conditions close to their attraction in this zoo are Lion Safari Park, Recently added Girafee, Natural History Museum and Children’s Train.

( 35 km) Ramoji Film City a Guinness world Record Holder is a  tourist attraction not only in the state but also from all parts of the world. This is Hyderabad’s answer to Universal Studios – nearly 2000 acres, a complete world created for  assisting the dream mearchants of cinema. Charminar

Charminar  Was constructed by Mahammed Quli Qutub Shah in 1591, as an end mark of plague epidemic . This famous monument has four huge minarets, each measuring 48.7 meters, decorated with carved lotus bugs and petals beautifully designed in line masonry. Inside the minarets are spiral stairways of 149 steps from whose top one gets a panoramic view of the city. Charminar is surrounded by glittering bazaars of famous Hyderabadi bangles, pearls and traditional wears.

Salarjung Museum

This museum is a unique art collection of a single. Great connoisseur of art, Mir Yousuf Ali Khan, better known to the world as Salarjung III , scion of an illustrious and wealthy family and a short lived prime minister of Hyderabad. The object d’art include Persian carpets,  Mughal miniatures, famous sculptors including the veiled Rebecca and Marguerite and Mephistopheles, a superb collection of jade, Daggers belonging to Nur jahen, Jehangir, shahjahan, Aurangzeb’s sword, cuckoo clocks and walking sticks.

Birla mandir

This beautiful white marble temple of Lord Balaji at Hyderabad was built on a hill, the kala pahad. This exquisite temple has a great sculptural excellence and a profusely carved ceiling. The idol in the temple is a replica of the one at tirumala tirupati and was built by the Birlas.
