Hampi

Hampi Located on the banks of the Tungabhadra River, in Karnataka, Hampi is the former capital of the Vijayanagara Empire, a Hindu Dynastry who ruled south India from 14^th to 16^th century. Covering an area of over 25 square km, the Hampi ruins, its current fame, is stuffed with mammoth temples, market streets, palaces, and historic structures.
